Birch was founded in Vermont to bring the softest natural fibers into your home. I created the first blanket to use sherpa fabric made out of wool, pairing it with a brushed 100% merino wool woven fabric. It is the softest, most luxiourious blanket you will ever find.

I founded Birch pulling on years of sourcing work with merino wool companies. I traveled the world visiting factories, fabric mills, spinners, dyers, and sheep stations marveling in the art that is fabric making. I wanted to bring the finest fibers and fabrics into people's homes so they could enjoy these wonderful products themselves.

These luxiouriously soft blankets were built by craftspeople in New England and New Jersey. I strive to minimize the global impact of shipping by creating small circle supply chains. They were built to last generations, to be handed down through your family and enjoyed. We are but stewards of this Earth. It should be left in better shape than we found it.
